Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Medicare 102: Understanding Your Medicare”, on Thursday, April 25 at 6:45 PM. This event is for people who already have Medicare and want a refresher and better understanding of their benefits, Medicare costs, changes due to the Inflation Reduction Act, Special Enrollment Periods, help for low-income beneficiaries, PACE and PACENET, preventing Medicare fraud and more. There will be time for questions and answers after the presentation. This presentation is presented by Chester County PA MEDI counselors. Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight (PA MEDI) is a free, unbiased health insurance counseling program designed to help all Pennsylvanians with Medicare. PA MEDI counselors are specially trained staff and volunteers who can answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy-to-understand information about Medicare. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
