ABOUT THE EVENT
Great Valley Nature Center is thrilled to announce it will hold its annual fundraising auction event, The Mid-Winter Blizzard Bash on Friday, January 29th at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern, PA. This lively dinner event will feature a silent auction with art, experiences, and more, and a live auction showcasing some fabulous excursions. Banish those blizzard blues, come in from the cold, and join the GVNC family for a fun evening with good friends.
This year’s event directly benefits the Environmental Education Programs, Discovery and Adventure Summer Camps, and the Bird of Prey Center of Great Valley Nature Center.
GVNC provides over 40 comprehensive education programs for schools across a four-county region; programs meeting PA State Standards in Ecology, Science and History. Last year, GVNC provided school programming throughout outreach programs held in school and through fieldtrips held on site at the Nature Center, for over 10,000 students. Our summer camps have been a staple for families across our area for over 40 years. With onsite summer camps for ages 3-10 years and off site adventure programs for young teens, there is something for everyone in the summer at GVNC.
