PCHF and the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce an upcoming program designed to equip Board treasurers with the skills they need for success!

Nonprofit Treasurer Essentials is a 4-part series for current or potential board treasurers interested in learning the soft and hard skills needed to best support their organizations.
Each Wednesday in February from 4:30-6:00, experts from around the region will share their insights on every aspect of the treasurer’s role, from nonprofit financials, fiduciary responsibility, and 990s to governance, volunteerism, and more!

Event Details:
Part 1- February 4th: A Treasurer’s Financial Skills
Louise Smith will kick our series off with a discussion on the financial skills needed for the treasurer role, including fiduciary duties, nonprofit financials, taxes, 990s and more.

Part 2- February 11th: A Treasurer’s Financial Skills
Louise will continue her overview of financial skills needed for the Treasurer role.

Part 3- February 18th: Treasurer’s Leadership in Governance
Sonia Stamm will discuss nonprofit board leadership, governance best practices, and the special role a treasurer plays in nonprofit leadership.

Part 4- February 25th: Volunteerism and the Sustainable Treasurer Role
Shari Pash will discuss the spirit of volunteerism needed from board members, as well as strategies for treasurers to set future board members up for success.

The final session will include a mixer from 5:30-6:30 for participants to connect with local nonprofit leadership!

Participation in this program is free, but registration and attendance at each session is required.
