Phoenixville Public Library will host a free concert/lecture, “Pennsylvania Piano: An In-Depth Look at Our State’s Most Influential Jazz Pianists”, on Monday, April 15 at 6:45 PM. Pennsylvania’s mark on jazz piano is undeniably immense, with an astonishing number of all-time great players, arrangers, and educators hailing from the state. The Patrick Kerssen Trio will explore the lives and music of nine of Pennsylvania’s most important pianists through analysis, audience participation, visual aids, and live musical performance. Come out for this interactive program of live music and local history! This event is free and open to the public.
