ABOUT THE EVENT
Local businesses (The Barrel by A’Dello Vineyard and Winery, Bluebird Distilling, Black Walnut Winery, Iron Hill Brewery and Stable 12 Brewery) welcome you aboard the Phlight of the Phoenix! A bar tour comprised of tasting rooms and wine bars serving only locally-produced distilled spirits, wine and beer, it challenges guests to stop in to each of the participating producer’s tasting rooms and enjoy a flight or tasting of their offerings. Guests will take their “boarding pass” (available at all participating businesses, the Borough offices, and other locations) around to each location, where it will be punched once they have purchased their flight or tasting. Once they have visited each stop on the tour, they will have completed the Phlight of the Phoenix! In addition to bragging rights, participants who complete the challenge will receive a t-shirt that proudly declares their victory, and showcases the logos of all the stops.
There is no cost to receive your “boarding pass”, but participants will pay the designated costs for each tasting or flight they consume, which will vary by location but for most is under $15.
Remember to drink responsibly and travel with a designated driver! Guests who wish to arrange for transportation during the tour, or any time from these locations, can choose to do so through StearClear, an app-based platform for iOS and Android devices, connecting riders to drivers that enables riders to be driven home in their own car.
