ABOUT THE EVENT

The Phoenix Book Club will meet next on Monday, September 11 at 7:00 PM at Phoenixville Public Library. The book discussed will be The Oregon Trail: A New American Journey by Rinker Buck. This is an award-winning and bestselling epic account of traveling the length of the Oregon Trail the old-fashioned way–in a covered wagon with a team of mules, an audacious journey that hasn’t been attempted in a century. The book tells of the rich history of the trail, the people who made the migration, and its significance to the country. A copy of the book may be reserved at the Library or at www.ccls.org.
