ABOUT THE EVENT
The Phoenix Book Club, Phoenixville Public Library’s virtual book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet on Monday, February 13 at 7:00 PM. The group will discuss I, Eliza Hamilton, the novel by Susan Holloway Scott. Elizabeth Schuyler, daughter of a respected general, marries Alexander Hamilton, a charismatic and ambitious aide to George Washington. Amid the tumult of the American Revolution, Eliza is confident in her brilliant husband and her role as his helpmate. As Hamilton grows in stature, influence, and power, Eliza’s strength carries her through, to be his most loyal advocate both in his life and after his death.
