Phoenix Book Club: “Long Bright River”

Monday, February 14, 2022 Phoenix Book Club: “Long Bright River”

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Phoenix Book Club, Phoenixville Public Library’s book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet virtually on Monday, February 14 at 7:00 PM. The group will discuss Liz Moore’s bestselling novel, Long Bright River. It’s the story of a Philadelphia family rocked by the opioid crisis and the relationship between two sisters–one, suffering from addiction, who has suddenly gone missing amid a series of mysterious murders; the other a police officer who patrols the neighborhood from which she disappeared. Amid suspense and conflict the author draws formidable ties between place, family, and fate. This event is free and open to the public and will take place online via Zoom. A physical or an audiobook copy of this book may be reserved at https://www.ccls.org. An e-book or e-audiobook copy may be reserved at https://chester.overdrive.com. The public is invited to attend.
