ABOUT THE EVENT
The Phoenix Book Club, Phoenixville Public Library’s virtual book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet on Zoom Monday, October 12, 7:00 PM. The group will discuss Anne Tyler’s bestselling novel, Redhead by the Side of the Road. Micah Mortimer is a creature of habit. A self-employed tech expert, superintendent of his Baltimore apartment building seems content leading a steady, circumscribed life. But one day his routines are blown apart when his woman friend tells him she’s facing eviction, and a teenager shows up at Micah’s door claiming to be his son. These surprises, and the ways they throw Micah’s meticulously organized life off-kilter, risk changing him forever. This event is free and open to the public and will be held online via Zoom. If you are not already on the Book Club’s email list, registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/phoenix-book-club or by calling 610-933-3013 x132 to receive the Zoom link.
