Phoenix Book Club: “The Plague of Doves”

Monday, July 14, 2025 Phoenix Book Club: “The Plague of Doves”

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Phoenix Book Club, Phoenixville Public Library’s virtual book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet on Zoom Monday, July 14 at 7:00 PM. The group will discuss Louise Erdrich’s acclaimed novel, The Plague of Doves. The unsolved murder of a farm family haunts the small, white, off-reservation town of Pluto, North Dakota. The vengeance exacted for this crime and the subsequent distortions of truth transform the lives of Ojibwe living on the nearby reservation and shape the passions of both communities for the next generation. Print and audiobook copies may be reserved at https://chesp.na.iiivega.com. This event is free and open to the public and will be held online via Zoom. If you are not already on the Book Club’s email list, registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/phoenix-book-club or by calling 610-933-3013 x132 to receive the Zoom link.
