The Phoenix Book Club, Phoenixville Public Library’s virtual book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet on Zoom Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00 PM. The group will discuss Mary Hogan’s novel, The Woman in the Photo. On her 18th birthday, genetic information from Lee Parker’s closed adoption is unlocked. She sees an old photo of a genetic relative, with hair and eyes like hers, standing next to Clara Barton in a pile of rubble from some natural disaster. Lee digs into history and her journey takes her from California to Johnstown, PA. Will Lee’s genetic legacy lead her in new directions?
