ABOUT THE EVENT
The Phoenixville Holiday House Tour committee is proud to announce the upcoming Phoenixville Area
Summer Garden Tour, Saturday, June 25, from 11:00 until 3:00pm.
The idea for this tour came from our not being able to host the traditional home tour in December for two
years. We are offering this as a welcome respite for our loyal patrons as an alternative. Hidden backyard
gems, artfully planted front terraces, community gardens, resplendent home gardens not normally visible to
passers-by, an outdoor living room, five adjoining back yards as neighbors created a New Orleans style
retreat, edible gardens, herb patio garden (where the herbs become part of award winning herbal vinegars)
and many more surprises will be featured.
The tour will begin at the Phoenixville Area Senior Center at 153 Church Street where parking is available. .
Many of the gardens are walkable in town, although some will require minimal driving.
A suggested donation of $20 will benefit the Holiday Tour beneficiaries: Anns Heart Code Blue Warming
Shelter, Firebird Childrens Theatre, Phoenixville Library Kids Library, The Clinic, and the Phoenixville
Senior Center.
Local restaurants will be offering luncheon discounts to tour patrons who present their programs.
