ABOUT THE EVENT
Back by popular demand, the PHOENIXVILLE CANDLELIGHT HOLIDAY TOUR will be held Saturday, December 6, from 3-7pm. Advance tickets are available for $20 through Friday, Dec 5 at Phoenixville area merchants: Heidi Sue Variety, Valley Forge Pizza, Foresta’s Market, and Ellie’s choice. The tour features beautifully decorated homes, houses of worship, and adaptive re-use. There will be several homes in the Main Street , Church Street and Gay Streets area near downtown for those who wish to make this part of the tour a walking tour. There are also homes featured in Schuylkill Township, which will require some driving. Of special interest will be a Celtic harpist featured at one of the homes, original art work done by another home owner, model trains, holiday collectibles, and decorations from Country Charm Furnishings which can be purchased that evening.
The tour organizers do not recommend this tour for children under twelve years of age, so in order to accommodate parents who do wish to enjoy the tour, The Design Grove at 215 Church Street will be offering a children’s drop off where the children will be doing craft projects, games and stories. Parents can schedule a two hour time slot from 3-5pm, 4-6pm or 5-7pm. the cost is $15 per child. Parents may provide a snack and drink – nut free.
