Phoenixville VegFest

Saturday, September 29, 2018 Phoenixville VegFest

ABOUT THE EVENT

This fall marks the return of Phoenixville VegFest for the third annual street fair on Saturday, September 29, 2018 (Rain date 9/30) on the 200 block of Bridge Street in the Borough’s downtown business district.

From 11 AM to 5 PM, visitors can enjoy free admission to the family-friendly event which features live music and an array of mouth-watering plant-based food from healthy creations to creative food truck fare to sinful bakery concoctions. We’re thrilled to welcome back favorites like Vegan Treats Bakery and vegan restaurant, the Greyhound Café (recently named best wings in Pennsylvania) and first time vendors like Love Again Local and Self Love Food Truck. Local author, Lisa Montgomery will be debuting her 9th book, the Vegan Challenge. Community Arts Phoenixville will host a free kids’ activity at their Bridge Street gallery space and Maddie’s Castle will host a pet watering station for our furry companions. The first 500 attendees will receive a free, reusable Kimberton Whole Foods bag filled with vegan product samples and coupons from companies including Made Good, Honest Tea, Treeline Cheese, Go Raw and more.

Phoenixville VegFest is unique in that in addition to street vendors, our local restaurants join the fun. We have two fully vegan restaurants downtown and several that offer vegan options year round. Check out our website at www.phoenivillevegfest.com for a complete list of vendors and participating restaurants and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Download the Grumbles app to help navigate the festival. The Green Earth Festival will be from 9am-1pm for those who arrive early. Head over to where our local Farmer’s Market is held (under the Gay street bridge) to get a jumpstart on the day.

This celebration of plant-based food and vegan lifestyle is independently organized by a group of local volunteers. Phoenixville VegFest is sponsored by Peace Advocacy Network (PAN) and Kimberton Whole Foods. Other sponsors include Living Dynamically/Lisa Montgomery, Pressure Perfect Massage, Green Mountain Energy, MadeGood, Browns Cow, and Mobilization for Animals.
