ABOUT THE EVENT

Phoenixville Public Library commemorates the 100th anniversary of America’s entrance into World War I with a free presentation by Ryan Conroy, historian and chairman of the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area, on Monday, November 27 at 7:00 PM. In his presentation, “Phoenixville in World War I”, you’ll learn the stories of the men and women from Phoenixville who served during the war. Ryan will highlight individual soldiers, regiments and the area’s contributions on the battlefront and the home front in his remarks and in a display of original items from his personal collection.
