Phoenixville Public Library will host a free Zoom presentation, “Popular Scams and How to Avoid Them”, on Thursday, January 25 at 12:00 PM. George Dillman, Consumer Outreach Specialist for the PA Department of Banking and Securities, will be the presenter. Every day people are getting scammed out of thousands of dollars by so called “professionals” looking to separate them from their hard-earned money. This presentation will introduce you to scammers’ commonly used tactics, what to look for and how to avoid them. This event is free and open to the public and will be held online via Zoom.
