ABOUT THE EVENT

Presented by

Roger Arthur, historian

in the Community Education Room

Forty-three men have been president; three or four have been great; another three or four have been “near greats”; two failed and one was forced to resign. The rest achieved various levels of mediocrity. As we are in the process of choosing a president this talk examines the qualities the “greats” had in common and what we might learn.

Roger Arthur has a Master’s degree in American History from West Chester University. He currently teaches American History and Government at Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA.
