ABOUT THE EVENT
Does your New Year’s resolution have something to do with getting up, out, and moving? The Chester County Red Rovers can help! Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation on the Red Rovers on Tuesday, January 22 at 7:00 PM. Jeanne Clancy of the Chester County Library will be the presenter. The Red Rovers is a chapter of the American Volkssport Association (AVA): America’s Walking Club. Volkssport is an international sports program that promotes personal physical fitness and good health by providing fun-filled, safe exercise in a stress-free environment through self-paced walks and hikes. Their walks are social events that permit walkers to explore different towns and parks on pre-planned routes. They even have one in Phoenixville! Learn how the Red Rovers can help you get started on the trail to “fun, fitness, and friendship”. This presentation is free and open to the public.
Reservations are required on the Adult Events Calendar at www.phoenixvillelibrary.org or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
