Phoenixville Public Library will host a screening and discussion of a short documentary film, “Rediscovering Pennsylvania’s History Makers: The Battle of Wyoming”, on Monday, July 31 at 6:45 PM. David Atkinson of the Susquehanna Valley Center for Public Policy will be the presenter. The film chronicles the Revolutionary War era Pennsylvania catastrophe known as the Battle of Wyoming, or more realistically, the Wyoming Valley Massacre. It was a complicated affair that illustrated the tangled and perilous circumstances of life on the frontier. This event is free and open to the public.
