Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Redistricting Reform – Getting There in Time for 2031!”, on Thursday, October 5 at 6:45 PM. Rich Rafferty of Fair Districts PA will be the speaker. Join us for this public education program on reforming Pennsylvania’s redistricting process. Rafferty will explain Pennsylvania’s current redistricting process, demonstrate how it has undermined democracy, and then offer a solution to the problem. Rich will also discuss the legislation and roadblocks in Harrisburg and FDPA’s strategy going forward. Fair Districts PA is a non-partisan coalition of citizens and organizations seeking to reform Pennsylvania’s redistricting rules by ensuring that the process is impartial, transparent, and accountable.
