Phoenixville Public Library will host a free, educational, in-person “Saving and Investing” workshop on Thursday, February 24 at 7:00 PM. Katrina Boyer, Investor Education Coordinator with the PA Department of Banking and Securities, will be the speaker. The program is an introduction to saving and investing. Topics to be covered include: why we need to save and invest, the differences between saving and investing, types of investments, the “power” of compound interest, investigating before you invest, technology and investing, and diversification.
