ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free online presentation, “Securing Your Digital Life”, on Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00 PM. Glenn Musser, facilitator of the Library’s Phoenixville Tech Group, will be the presenter. Our online accounts are becoming more vulnerable every day to attacks by malicious actors. Securing your critical online services like banks, credit unions, email accounts, social networks, and shopping sites, each with a unique and robust password, is a must. Using two-factor authentication, along with a strong password, is your best protection from online hackers. Join us to learn how to use a password manager and the importance of two-factor authentication. Glenn will discuss the value of these tools to secure your online accounts and services during this session. Glenn will follow up this session with several online meetings to get you set up using a free password manager and two-factor authentication. You will only need to join in with as many online discussions as necessary to set up your password manager and two-factor authentication services.
This event is free and open to the public, and will take place via Google Meet. Join the Phoenixville Tech Group e-mail list to receive an invitation to join this special online meeting.
