ABOUT THE EVENT

Is the American presidency a killer job? In honor of Presidents’ Day, Robert Smith will present an overview of the health afflictions of our Chief Executives on Monday, February 3 at 7:00 PM at Phoenixville Public Library. How did some presidents flourish despite their afflictions? Who were the sickest presidents? How were some presidents lucky enough to have any health at all (that is, which ones survived near-death experiences)? Find out at this fascinating presentation.

Robert Smith (B.S. Chemistry, Loyola University; M.A. Medicinal Chemistry and M.B.A Corporate Finance, Temple University) is a retired Director of Corporate Strategy for GlaxoSmithKline, retired Editor-in-Chief for Dorland Healthcare Information, and retired Vice-president of Pharmaceutical Consulting Consortium International.
