Art appreciation educator Martina Keogan will bring samples of great artwork and lead a discussion on Saturday, April 14 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Phoenixville Public Library. This event is free and open to the public. All ESL skill levels welcome. Light refreshments served.
Martina Keogan is an art appreciation educator from Pennsylvania. Although she has a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, she discovered a passion for art nearly two decades ago and has been pursuing it ever since. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of art with people of all ages through writing her Facebook blog and giving engaging and informative presentations. Before launching “Speaking of Art”, she was a fifteen year member of Art Goes to School, a non-profit volunteer organization which brings art appreciation classes to elementary school children. Martina has also given art presentations at local high schools, community organizations, and the Chester County Night School. In 2016, she became a contributor for the mobile app DailyArt.
