ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us at Centennial Lutheran Church for a 50/50 Speed Puzzle Competition to benefit Rise Against Hunger!
Wednesday August 13th.
Arrive by 6:30pm to pay entry fees
(Beginner $5 per entry, Advanced $7 per entry.)
The Timer begins at 7pm!
Compete in either the Beginner (250 piece) or Advanced (500 piece) divisions with teams of 4-6 competitors.
If you can finish your puzzle first in 1.5 hours you win 50% of the ticket entry fees! All teams get to keep their puzzles!
The other 50% will go to benefit Rise Against Hunger, a charity event this September where thousands of ready-make meals are assembled by church members of the local Muhlenberg Parish for hungry families around the world.
All Ages Welcome!
Children and children teams (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

PLEASE register at least a week in advance if possible to help us have the right amount of puzzles!
NOTE: If you email us to register for the competition please include the number of people, their names, and indicate which division you are competing in (the Beginner 250-300 piece puzzle division of children to young adults, or the advanced 500 piece division of young adult to adult and supervised children).
If you have a team name please include it.

FAQ
Q: Where is this event?
A: Centennial Lutheran Church on 1330 Hares Hill Road in Kimberton, PA. The church is visible on the corner intersections of Coldstream and Hares Hill. Please park in the massive parking lot behind the church and enter in through the indicated entrance on the Hares Hill Road side.
Q: How can I pay?
A: You can either pay with cash at the door (preferred), or pay via our secure online service.
Q: Can I pay ahead?
A: Yes, after you contact us through info@centenniallutheran.org and indicated your payment preference we can send you a link to our secure online payment method and give you a receipt to show at the front door.
Q: What if I don’t want to compete in the puzzle competition, but want to support my friends or family? Is there something to do if I get bored?
A: Please indicate at the front desk that you are simply an observer. All paid entrants will have wristbands to indicate they are part of a team. There will be puzzles and activities off to the side if space allows to enjoy if you do not want to compete.
Q: What is Rise Against Hunger?
A: Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger-relief non-profit organization that has been combating hunger around the world since 1998. Centennial Lutheran Church, along with the other Lutheran churches of the Muhlenberg Parish of Chester County, have been involved in fundraising and food kit packing efforts for RAH for years.

Q: Are there any rules for this event and for the venue?
A: We will be going by traditional Speed Puzzle tournament rules, and will expect players to abide by the general rules of Centennial Lutheran Church.
1. No distracting or harassing other teams.
2. No phones during active puzzle assembling.
3. All teams start their puzzles at the same time.
4. Please keep language civil for a family friendly event.
5. No alcohol, drugs, or weapons are allowed on church property.
6. No running around church property or going into church rooms with closed doors. All children must be accompanied by their designated adult chaperones.
7. Only competitors, their chaperones (if under the age of 16), and a very limited number of non-players are allowed in the space.
8. If the space is filled, the church has the right to turn away competitors. Names and emails will be taken to alert any who are turned away of future puzzle competitions.
9. If any competitors cause any form of disruption deemed offensive or harassing, the church has the right to ask that individual to leave.
10. All are welcome in this loving church and inclusive event, we expect everyone to enjoy themselves and to be a community of kindness to one another.
Photographs for this event will be taken for publicity purposes of the event and the church. Permission will be asked ahead of time.
