ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free virtual presentation, “Stroke: Facts, Figures and Impact on Communication”, on Thursday, November 19 at 7:00 PM. Speech-language pathologist Emily Overbaugh will be the speaker. Join us for this overview of strokes, AKA cerebrovascular accidents (CVA). Learn risk factors and symptoms, how CVAs affect thinking skills and communication, tips for communicating with someone having difficulty communicating after a CVA, and information about CVA rehabilitation.
