ABOUT THE EVENT

Adults can learn the basics of apps for social media, entertainment, and everyday use in a series of virtual classes hosted by Phoenixville Public Library and taught by teens from Teens Teach Technology. On Saturday, September 18 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, participants will learn the basic usage of three social media apps: Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. The Instagram curriculum will go over how to download the application, create an account, follow others, make your account safe, and posting photos. The Twitter curriculum will go over how to download the app, create an account, follow others, and like/comment/retweet on a tweet. The Facebook curriculum will go over how to download the app, create an account, add friends, and post. Teens Teach Technology is an organization run by high school seniors dedicated to teaching older adults the basics of technology.
