ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “The ABCs of LGBT”, on Tuesday, February 4 at 7:00 PM. Library staff member and LGBT community supporter Rebekah Foster will be the speaker. Are you unfamiliar with LGBT terms? Has a family member recently come out to you, and you feel clueless? Or are you queer and looking for a safe place to share some queer memes? Then this program — which will touch on basic terminology, stereotypes, and more — is for you.
Rebekah Foster is a part-time Circulation Desk Assistant at Phoenixville Public Library. She has been actively supporting the LGBT community for years, and served her high school GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) as Vice President her junior year and President her senior year.
