ABOUT THE EVENT

Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “The Chesapeake Bay: Our National Treasure”, on Thursday, June 20 at 7:00 PM. Dick Calef will be the speaker. Discover the natural beauty and vibrant activity of America’s largest estuary. Dick’s presentation will include historical insights on towns, boats, buoys, bridges, wildlife and marine scenery through photos and captions reflecting his time on the water. Dick Calef is a New Hampshire native, a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. He spent over 40 years in marketing & sales management positions in the fields of power systems and aerospace. He has been an active member, instructor and student in Lifelong Learning at Immaculata and Widener Universities and a frequent speaker at local organizations.
