ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “The New Look of Nicotine Addiction: Vaping: What Every Parent Should Know!”, on Thursday, September 21 at 6:45 PM. Michelle Evans, BSN, RN, CTTS, Community Health Education and Outreach, Tobacco, Cessation, at Phoenixville Hospital, will be the speaker. This program will provide parents and guardians with critical information on youth vaping behavior today. The presentation will discuss what electronic cigarettes are, the effects of nicotine on the brain and body, the addiction cycle, recovery symptoms, and product use statistics and legislation. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
