Voices of Our Mothers: A Choral Concert

ABOUT THE EVENT

Under the artistic direction of S. Katherine Shealy, Concordia Voices, CCA’s 45-voice premiere choir, will highlight the traditions, rhythms, and the musical “soul of mothering” expressed across the centuries and across the globe. The audience will experience many “voices of mothering” through works by Mozart, Rene Clausen, Rosephanye Powell, and Bobby McFerrin, as well as those from ancient texts, contemporary folk music, and spirituals.

General admission tickets $15, alumnae $12, students and military $10, children under 10 free. Parking is free in the church parking lot.
