ABOUT THE EVENT
Volunteer English Program in Chester County is holding their 3 night Phoenixville Tutor Training Workshop on 3/6, 3/8, 3/15 (snow date 3/21) from 6-9 pm at Phoenixville MOB II, 3rd floor, next to Phoenixville Hospital. We are looking for interested tutors to volunteer 3 hours a week to teach a non-native English speaking adult to learn English for better communication in areas of employment, community, with teachers and health care providers, to support their families/children and to better integrate into society.
Minimum of 1 year commitment required. Cost is $35.00, which covers materials, refreshments and staff time before and during training. Hope to see you there!
