ABOUT THE EVENT

Phoenixville Public Library will celebrate Phoenixville’s Black history with a special virtual presentation, “We Are Black Light Projects”, on Monday, April 26 at 7:00 PM. A video presentation will be followed by a live Q&A with board members of Phoenixville’s Black Light Projects. Introducing an exciting new edition of Phoenixville’s Black history – Black Light Projects. With a variety of educational and entertaining projects, the hidden impact of local African American stars in our community is brought to the forefront — recognizing and celebrating the achievements of citizens and organizations whose life’s work or moments in time shaped our culture. Black Light Projects is particularly interested in expanding the wealth of neighborly knowledge. We are ALL in this together sharing a common goal of creating and sustaining a beloved community where we are acknowledged, we are proud, and we are respected.
