ABOUT THE EVENT

Phoenixville Public Library will host a free, in-person presentation, “Why You’ll Soon Be Driving an Electric Car… and Be Happy about It”, on Monday, February 28 at 7:00 PM. Lee Berger will be the speaker. Curious about electric cars? Have you wondered if they’re reliable, how much they cost, and what it’s like to drive one? This presentation will answer those questions–and any others you might want to ask. Schuylkill Township resident and longtime electric car owner Lee Berger offers the latest information on these vehicles and explains why the corner gas station may soon be a thing of the past. Lee Berger is a retired reading specialist and was born and raised in Phoenixville. He has been driving an electric car for nine years and proudly admits he has no mechanical ability whatsoever. This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/electric-cars or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. Email mpinto@ccls.org for more information. Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
