ABOUT THE EVENT
Phoenixville Public Library will sponsor a “Wilderness Survival Skills Hike” in Warwick County Park on Sunday, August 26 at 2:00 PM. County Park Rangers Chris Wales and Nate Helminiak will lead a fun and easy hike while covering essential skills including navigation, foraging for food and water, scavenging for supplies, and first aid. Hiking boots and water are recommended.
This program is Part 2 of Phoenixville Public Library’s “Survival Series”. Participants in this program will receive a free raffle ticket for some cool survival-themed products to be given away at the end of the August 27th event.
Meets at the Warwick County Park Office, 191 County Park Rd., Pottstown, PA. Hike held rain or shine. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required on the Adult Events Calendar at www.phoenixvillelibrary.org or by calling 610-933-3013 x132.
