“This is a prestigious honor for our Rehabilitation program,” said Phoenixville Hospital President and CEO, Steve Tullman. “Making it to the top 10 percent for te third straight year of all rehabilitation centers is an amazing accomplishment and a tribute to the dedication and hard work of our employees.”

“An experienced team of compassionate physicians, nurses, and physical, occupational and speech therapists deserve credit for the three years of achieving this recognition,” said Holly Younker, director of Rehab Services and Program Director, Regional Rehab.

“Our dedicated and experienced team is committed to providing each patient with exceptional, personalized rehabilitative care,” said Younker. “We focus on the individual patient and helping them get back to their best quality of life following an injury or illness.”The data used for this report was based on 12 months of 2018 data, drawn from both Medicare and non-Medicare patients.

The report card on high-performing facilities is based on best practices in inpatient rehabilitation facilities, as determined from the nation’s largest database of rehabilitation outcomes, developed by UDSMR, a division of UB Foundation Activities Inc., a not-for-profit corporation affiliated with the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, and its medical rehabilitation database is used by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS).
