APA founder, President and CEO, Christina DiArcangelo Puller, was quoted as saying, “I am hoping that this event will serve as a major contributor to APA’s goal of reaching $300,000 by the end of the 2016 fiscal year. All donations that are collected will serve to promote APA’s mission that no patient is required to pay out-of-pocket for advocacy services.”
In one of the most complicated and emotional medical circumstance a patient could face, APA strives to provide knowledgeable and experienced professionals that are equipped to assist in the decision-making process. The nonprofit is designed to ensure patients have an advocate to assist them in navigating their respective cancer treatment plans, and enable them to focus more on the most important aspect of treatment, getting better.
