April 16, 2018 Award-Winning Vocalist to Perform in Phoenixville to Raise Funds for Community Coalition

Join The Community Coalition – a Phoenixville-based organization with an innovative model of collaboration among five Chester County nonprofits dedicated to fundraising together and sharing resources – on Thursday, May 24 for Cabaret Night with Carolyn Montgomery at the Colonial Theatre.

Montgomery is an award-winning singer/songwriter based in New York City whom Stephen Holden of The New York Times calls “a smart, sophisticated storyteller.” The Baltimore Sun called her “brilliantly funny with the voice of an angel. Tracey Ullman meets Grace Kelly in Carolyn Montgomery.”

Montgomery and pianist Jeff Cubeta are making a special stop in Phoenixville for one night only to share some favorites from her recent hit show Visible Phoenix, which ran for 14 months in seven American cities and London.

Carolyn Montgomery’s performance will be 55 minutes in length. Doors open at 7 PM and showtime is 7:30 PM. One hundred tickets are on sale for $35 each. Click here to purchase.

Proceeds from the event will go to support The Community Coalition and its mission to serve and celebrate individuals, families, and social institutions through a collaborative fundraising effort.

Since 1991, The Community Coalition has distributed more than $7 million to local organizations that respond to community needs effectively.
