About the Name
The Chartwell takes its name from the country estate of Sir Winston Churchill — the place he retreated to think, to paint, to smoke, and to be himself.
It was not a grand hall. It was a home away from home.
That idea became the foundation for Chartwell Cigar Club — a place built not around pretension, but around comfort, conversation, and community.
