Chester County Health Department COVID-19 Vaccine Update

We are working with all COVID-19 vaccine partners – hospitals, care homes, pharmacies, and eventually doctors’ offices and urgent cares – to get the vaccine out as quickly as possible. We are requesting maximum doses of the vaccine from the PA Department of Health on a weekly basis, and the numbers we have requested, compared with the number of doses we are receiving, are noted in the chart below.
Here is an update on the vaccine program in Chester County, as of Friday, January 29, 2021:

Vaccinating Phase 1A

The Chester County Health Department is currently administering the vaccine to individuals in Phase 1A. At the current level of vaccine doses the Chester County Health Department is receiving from the State, it is estimated that 4,000 people in Phase 1A will receive the vaccine each week. As delivery of the vaccine doses increases, this estimate will be revised.

The chart below indicates the estimated number of people in each phase, and the number that have, to date, been vaccinated.

Based on the amount of vaccine received, we are currently holding two COVID-19 vaccine clinics – one at the Government Services Center in West Chester, and one at Kennett Square Fire Company’s Red Clay Room.
