On Wednesday, March 30th, the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce gathered together some of the community’s leading lights to celebrate the winners of the various Chamber annual awards, including Outstanding Citizen.

Held at the beautiful Phoenixville Country Club, the evening was a success from start to finish. Crysta C. Peers and Rachel Stevenson received the Chamber’s Merit Award, which recognizes an individual who, through their service to others, exemplifies a high level of citizenship within the community.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Bluebird Distilling, KMS Design/State Farm, Phoenix Village Luxury Apartments, and Renaissance Academy were this year’s winners of the Business Development Award, and the Chamber awarded $500 to Alianzas de Phoenixville as the winner of the Community Betterment Award.

The Chamber’s Outstanding Citizen of the Year was Jim Kovaleski, a man who has contributed an extraordinary amount of time, service, and leadership to promoting the quality of life and welfare of the regional community, both as President of the Phoenixville Borough Council and as a principal attorney at the O’Donnell, Weiss and Mattei Law Firm in Phoenixville.
