PHOENIXVILLE, PA: We have successfully established an endowment fund for the Good Samaritan Shelter!
A year ago we launched a campaign to raise $50,000 to start an endowment fund, and we have reached that goal!
Every dollar we raised is being matched by the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, which means we are starting with a $100,000 endowment fund! This fund will make sure GSS can operate and provide shelter for many years to come.
We do not spend money from the endowment fund for operating expenses, rather we will use the interest income to make home repairs and improve our programs. Thanks to everyone for your sacrificial giving to help us take this important step of growth and maturity, and thanks to God for His provision.
