The borough will host its first ever VegFest. This free event is for vegans and non vegans alike. The VegFest is a vegan food and street festival sponsored by the Peace Advocacy Network (PAN). Yummy vegan food, live music, street vendors, animal organizations, fun kid activities, and local restaurants offering vegan food and drink specials.
One of the vegan establishments at the festival will be the Bethlehem-based bakery, Vegan Treats. This bakery is known as one of the best vegan bakeries in the country. The festival will feature other local businesses with vegan items on their menus.
