One chamber of commerce leader said an event on Thursday evening was all about “connections.”
“This opportunity exposes chamber members to people they wouldn’t necessarily see at regular events,” said Eileen Dautrich, president of the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce, Pottstown. Dautrich joined the directors of four other Tri-County- area chambers at the annual Five-Chamber Business Card Exchange at the Copperfield Inn at Lakeside in Limerick Township, Montgomery County.
Chambers in attendance also included Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, Collegeville, Montgomery County; Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, East Greenville, Montgomery County; Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce, Phoenixville, Chester County; and Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce, Limerick.
The annual event, more than a decade old, can be beneficial for introducing prospective members to the chambers. But it’s also a way to network.
