New acquisition expands business service offerings for Four Star & Business Office Systems clients
Harrisburg, PA: Higher Information Group, LLC (HIG) is excited to announce the acquisition of Four-Star Business Systems, Inc. also doing business as Business Office Systems, Inc. (BOS) on July 1, 2019. The move allows HIG to expand their reach in Northeastern Pennsylvania while increasing the business services available to BOS clients. HIG will occupy the BOS office location at 33 S. Wilkes Barre Blvd. in the Market Street Business Center along with Gold Star Digital Document Services.

By retaining their business equipment service organization, we can assure BOS customers of no interruption in support throughout the transition. Jeff Thomas is joining HIG as the Territory Account Executive for the region. BOS Field Service Technicians will continue to service and support BOS business equipment under the HIG brand. BOS customers will now have access to HIG’s line of Toshiba and Cannon business equipment, Document Storage and Shredding Services, IT Services, and Telephony and Security Solutions. In addition, HIG will offer its Web, Creative, and Digital Marketing portfolio to BOS customers.
