Jessica Capistrant, IOM, CAE Celebrates 15 Years of Leadership with the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrates Jessica Capistrant, IOM, CAE, as she marks her 15th year serving the organization and the broader Phoenixville community. Over the past decade and a half, Capistrant’s collaborative leadership and strategic vision have helped transform the Chamber into a regional convener, economic catalyst, and trusted voice for business and community connection.
Capistrant began her journey with the Chamber in 2011 as Office Manager, quickly advancing to Chamber Director and ultimately President & CEO, a role she has held while guiding the organization through significant growth and innovation. Early in her tenure, she played a key role in expanding signature community initiatives such as First Fridays, the Food Truck Festival, and the Harvest Festival, helping attract tens of thousands of visitors to Phoenixville each year.
Under her leadership, the Chamber has evolved into a modern, mission-driven organization. Membership has nearly doubled, with a sustained retention rate strongly exceeding national averages, reflecting strong relationship-building and value-driven programming.
“Jessica’s ability to bring people together and think creatively about the future has strengthened not only the Chamber, but the entire Phoenixville region,” said Wendy McKeon, Board Chair. “Her leadership has positioned the organization as a trusted partner for businesses, nonprofits, and local leaders.”
Throughout her tenure as President & CEO, Capistrant has focused on strategic growth, financial stewardship, and community impact. She has led the organization through modernization and expansion, doubling the Chamber’s operating budget through diversified revenue streams and innovative non-dues income strategies. She also oversaw the acquisition and renovation of the Chamber’s headquarters at 710 Main Street, ensuring long-term sustainability and accessibility for members and partners.
Known for her collaborative and relationship-driven leadership style, Capistrant serves as a liaison between businesses, community organizations, and the Board of Directors, advancing initiatives that support economic vitality and quality of life across northern Chester County. This level of engagement, stability and growth led to the Chamber being a recipient of the Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals “PA Chamber of the Year” award in late 2025.
“Serving this community has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” said Capistrant. “The Chamber’s impact is rooted in the people: our members, partners, and volunteers, who continue to show what’s possible when we work together toward a shared vision.”
A Certified Association Executive (CAE) and graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Institute for Organization Management (IOM), Capistrant is widely recognized for her leadership across the nonprofit and business sectors. She has received numerous honors, including Extraordinary Woman of the Year, VISTA Millennial Superstars: 40 Under 40, and Association Forum’s North American Forty Under 40. She also serves in leadership roles with several community and professional organizations, including the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, Board of Regents for IOM Northeast, and the Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals.
As she enters her 15th year, Capistrant remains committed to strengthening connections, championing local businesses, and advancing initiatives that foster innovation, collaboration, and long-term community growth.
