Jessica Capistrant, IOM, of the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce Serves as Class Advisor of Institute for Organization Management
A Leadership Training Program Produced by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, chose Jessica Capistrant, IOM, President & CEO of the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce, to serve as a Class Advisor at Institute for Organization Management. Institute is an intensive week-long nonprofit leadership training program that was held at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.

Since its commencement in 1921, the Institute program has been educating tens of thousands of association, chamber, and other nonprofit leaders on how to build stronger organizations, better serve their members and become strong business advocates.

Institute’s Class Advisors play a pivotal role throughout the week, facilitating learning and building team spirit for their homerooms. Each advisor is an Institute graduate selected by the Board of Regents to serve as an on-site resource for participants. Capistrant also provided industry consults to attendees, and course audits during her time in Tucson.

“Class Advisors are essential to Institute’s success,” said Raymond P. Towle, IOM, CAE, vice president of Institute for Organization Management at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce . “These volunteers not only help their individual classes make the most of their time at Institute, but they encourage group camaraderie prior to the program and keep the momentum alive after the week is over.”

Institute for Organization Management is the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It is the premier nonprofit professional development program for association and chamber professionals, fostering individual growth through interactive learning and networking opportunities.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization representing companies of all sizes across every sector of the economy. Our members range from the small businesses and local chambers of commerce that line the Main Streets of America to leading industry associations and large corporations.
