Jessica Capistrant named one of Vista Today’s 40 under 40, Millennial Superstar’s

Pottstown PA, March 11, 2022 — Jessica Capistrant, President and CEO of the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce was recognized as a Millenial Superstar according to Vista Today’s 40 under 40 list Honoring Chester County Leaders.

VISTA Today’s 2022 Class of VISTA “Millennial Superstar” awards are presented by Penn State Great Valley. These awards are being given to individuals under 40 who have broken down walls, shattered expectations, and made Chester County a better place. Seven of the honorees will be recognized during an outdoor celebration on Tuesday, May 10 at Penn State Great Valley. Jessica was recognized as “The president of a local chamber of commerce who is fostering long-lasting relationships between businesses and the community”, upon the announcement via Vista Today’s website. 

Jessica has been with the Chamber for over 11 years now. Starting as Office Manager in 2011, now employed as CEO and President since 2014. She has been a member of the Phoenixville First committee and has driven events such as First Fridays, Food Truck Festivals, and the Summer Music Series. Jessica also created the fall Harvest Festival that many chamber and community members come out to enjoy. 

For over 90 years, the Chamber has promoted and served the interests of both the community and its members to make Phoenixville the town it has become. Jessica has helped do just that. “Under her direction, Jessica has taken our Chamber to new heights. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. Jessica is a true professional and the greater Phoenixville community is very fortunate to have her in a leadership role”, said Buffy MacLelland, Vice-Chair of the Board of the Phoenixville Chamber.

This is not Jessica’s first earned title, in 2017 she was named Extraordinary Woman of the Year by State Representative Warren Kampf. She has earned her titles, having served on various boards and committees throughout her time at the Chamber. Jessica can currently be found serving on the Phoenixville First Committee, as the incoming Chair of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, or as the treasurer of both the Phoenixville Jaycees and Phoenixville’s 100 Women.
