Phoenixville: The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation is pleased to announce their newly elected members of The Board of Directors and officers, effective July 1, 2018. The four new board members include Jessica Capistrant, President/CEO of the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Maria Schwab, and educator currently Assistant Professor at Cabrini University; Mark Szilagyi, owner of the Gateway Pharmacy; and Theresa Thornton, Founder/CEO of Miss Kitty’s Care.
In addition to the new board members, the following officers were also elected: John Colarusso, Chair; David Gautreau, Vice Chair, Kathryn Evans, Secretary; Michael Polin, Treasurer; and Richard Kunsch, Sr., Assistant Treasurer. The Foundation Board accepted Edwin Soto’s resignation with regret, thanking him for his service to the Foundation and the Phoenixville community.
The mission of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation is to improve the health and quality of life for people in the greater Phoenixville region by increasing access to quality healthcare services and promoting healthy communities through grant-making and collaborations with health, civic, business and community partners.
