Phoenixville Area High School Swim Team Raised Over $2,500 for the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital

Phoenixville, PA (February 2020) – Members of Phoenixville Area High School Swim Team recently presented a check in the amount of $2,597.65 to the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital for their Patient Assistance Fund. The Phoenixville Area High School swimmers and divers participated in the 6th annual Swim for the Cure swim-a-thon to raise funds for the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital. Chester County Nonprofits Tapped by The Pew Charitable Trusts to Improve Outcomes for Residents

WEST CHESTER, PA (February 20, 2020) – Three Chester County nonprofits are raising the bar on their own work as participants in the Pew Fund’s Evaluation Capacity Building Initiative. The 18-month program aims to help Pew Fund grantees assess and strengthen the impact of their services for the region’s most vulnerable residents. Through group learning sessions and individualized coaching, organizations learn to monitor their ongoing progress, use data to inform their practices, and evaluate their impact. Pennsylvania Chamber Educational Foundation teams up with mikeroweWORKS Foundation

In May 2016, the Pennsylvania Chamber Educational Foundation teamed up with the mikeroweWORKS Foundation to increase public awareness around the growing demand for workers in the skilled trades, and to help award scholarships specifically to Pennsylvania students through the Work Ethic Scholarship Program. Since then, thanks to generous donations from the Pennsylvania business community, the PA Chamber Educational Foundation has helped provide nearly $195,000 in work ethic scholarships for approximately 94 Pennsylvania students who are entering into the skilled trades in the Commonwealth.  And ...
